The commands in the Basic Obedience dog training course are: name recognition; attention (watch me); heeling or walking on a loose leash; sit, down, and stand - stay in all three of these positions from a distance, with increased duration, and with distractions (such as people, toys, other animals or anything that can cause a dog to break the command); recall (dog runs to you and faces you); off (furniture and people); wait (through doorways); leave it and drop it.
Common behavior problems of participants' dogs will be addressed.
