Families with Dogs
We encourage family members and children to
attend a course(s) with the handler. However, it is important that some
guidelines be followed with regard to children.
- A limit of two children is permitted per family,
per class. Children age 7 - 15 must be accompanied by an adult who
is not working with the dog.
|
- Children must be under parental
control at all times.
|
- No running or yelling in the
training facility.
|
- Tell your children that not all
dogs are friendly towards children and therefore they should
obtain the owner’s permission before approaching another dog.
|
- It is not uncommon for children to
get bored during class. Please bring quiet toys or
activities to keep them entertained.
|
- Handlers should be at least 16
years of age.
